Kona Crab and Lobster Closed Season Sales License
Requirement
- Any dealer or restaurant to sell or serve during the closed season any Kona crab or lobster lawfully caught during the open season.
- Lobster season runs Sept. 1st to April 30th.
- Kona Crab season runs Oct. 1st to April 30th and is monitored by an Annual Catch Limit.
- Includes reporting requirements.

Required to buy and sell farm-raised aquatic animals or products in Hawaiʻi.
Authorizes operating a facility that breeds or raises aquatic species for aquaculture.
Allows activities within Molokini Shoal Marine Life Conservation District.
